There are some very obvious things that we forget when we’re talking about sexuality, and the most vital one is how fetish plays its part in the sexual activities and interest we enjoy as men…
Through my time writing about sex and male sexuality in general, I have had occasion to do quite a bit of research, and the one thing that is always missed when we’re researching and discussing male sexuality is masturbation and the male fetish for cock.
This fetish, I believe, covers all sexual persuasions, but the evidence to show this has been significantly lacking in the past. The most common sexual act is masturbation, so why does all the sexual research discussing male sexuality seem to skip this entirely?
One great example of this was in some research done in the USA where male prisoners were asked to share their experiences of same sex relationships in prison. All of the men were asked about oral sex, rape, anal sex and a vaguely inquired about “rubbing”. But none of them were asked if they jerked off with other inmates.
This seems like a bizarre thing to miss, considering that billions of men around the world experience male mutual masturbation in their teenage years, and many millions continue this into their adult lives too. And it’s very odd that they would neglect this subject considering it’s the most common sexual activity and these are men sharing a very small intimate space.
Through my own research I have seen the evidence that many heterosexual men – guys who otherwise have completely heterosexual lives – have a fetish for male masturbation and enjoy watching it in pornography. Many of them even admitted that they watch porn specifically focused on guys jerking off. But is this really so shocking, considering that almost every single porn film directed at straight men has extensive shots of guys stroking their cock’s and shooting their cum at the end? If straight guys have no interest, then why do they care about watching the cum shooting from a stroking cock?
It seems to be a fetish for straight men to watch other men jerking off and ejaculating, with many of them also wishing to enjoy the activity with male friends. But considering that this is the most common sexual activity for men, is it any surprise that we create a desire to see others doing it to?
Just as men have a fetish for big breasts or lacy underwear, I believe many heterosexual men also have a fetish for watching other guys enjoying their dicks, just like they do.
We should also consider how this plays a part in male bonding too. One of my closest friends when I was a teenager regularly shared masturbation with me while we flicked through his older brother’s porn magazines, and he was otherwise straight. It was a fun experience, and it definitely brought us closer together as friends.
After all the research I have done, and all the data that I gathered, I have absolutely no doubt that many straight guys are very interested in sharing male masturbation experiences with other guys. There are even groups and websites completely dedicated to finding wanking buddies, and many of the members of these sites consider themselves to be heterosexual, limiting their same sex activities to masturbation only.
So the next time you find yourself interested in a friend who you know is straight, consider that they might be open to some mutual male masturbation, and if you dare to take the risk, create the opportunity and see where it leads. You never know!
