So what is the average? And does it even matter?

According to Dr. David Delvin, a GP and family planning specialist, the average cock length in a flaccid state is 3.75 inches. But, it has to be noted that the length of the soft cock changes depending on so many things. Temperature and arousal both dramatically alter the dimensions of the cock. Even when limp, the mere act of measuring can immediately begin the arousal process, and even if you don’t know it your dick can be filling up and adding just a little to the thickness or length.

When fully hard, the average is reportedly 6.5 inches. And, interestingly, whether your soft cock is smaller than average or larger than other soft cocks, the length of the hard dick is between 6 and 7 inches for most men.

Therefore, it is fair to say that below 6 inches is smaller than average, between 6 and 7 inches is average, and above 7 inches is bigger than average.

But, it should also be noted that this is simply one example of research, and presumably in one region. There is evidence that cock sizes do indeed change slightly due to region and genetic background, so a global research project might produce dramatically different results.

Does size even matter?

It might for some, and for those who find it affecting them adversely. But in reality, while most guys would love to have a bigger cock, others who see theirs love it just the way it is!
